Melbourne’s wealthy Liberman family has shut down its real estate funds management vehicle after a big Melbourne office tower investment soured following the collapse of two builders involved in the project.
Impact Investment Group was placed into liquidation by Berry Liberman and her husband, Danny Almagor, after more than a decade in operation that included the ownership and successful sale of the Byron Beach Hotel for a then record $100 million to MA Financial in 2019.
