A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman was found dead with “serious injuries” at a property.
Reports of concern for safety were raised at an address in Cottingley, West Yorkshire, at 10.46am on Tuesday.
Police rushed to the scene where they found a woman suffering from serious injuries.
The woman sadly died at the scene and a 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in police custody at this time.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “Police were called at 10.46 to reports of a concern for safety at an address on Airedale Avenue, Cottingley.
“A woman was found with serious injuries.
“She was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.”
They added: “A man aged 45 has been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody at this time.
“A scene is currently in place whilst enquiries are carried out.”
Some residents told The Telegraph and Argus how they were “very worried” after seeing the large police presence outside their homes.
