Residents were asked what life is like living in their towns and cities
A recent study by property website Rightmove, known as the “Happy at Home” index, has named the West Midlands town of Walsall as one of the unhappiest places to live in the entire UK.
The town ranked 216th out of 220 locations, making it the fifth least happy place overall, based purely on feedback from its own residents.
This poor result suggests a negative perception of life in the Black Country town, though other nearby areas like Birmingham and Dudley also ranked poorly in the national survey.
