The homes will be delivered by Story Homes in partnership with South Lakes Housing (SLH) at the Millfields development in Ulverston, where construction has recently started.
The 29 affordable homes form part of a wider scheme of 111 new properties, 35 per cent of which are designated as affordable to support local housing needs.

The homes will include a mix of affordable rent properties and shared ownership homes.
This latest collaboration between Story Homes and SLH builds on their established partnership in the region.
To date, Story Homes has delivered 89 affordable homes to SLH across South Cumbria, including schemes at Brigsteer Rise in Kendal, Laurel Place in Ulverston, and Fellside Manor in Endmoor.
The new agreement will see SLH take on 20 homes for affordable rent and nine for shared ownership at Millfields.
