Housing development at Portreath
KML Ventures has applied to build seven new homes with associated landscape, parking and access improvement works on land at Colletts Court, Feadon Lane in the Gwel an Mor area of Portreath.
A supporting statement says: “The proposals constitute a sustainable, small-scale, windfall development that makes an important contribution to delivering new homes within Cornwall. The development directs a mix of new dwellings to an established residential environment and utilises a vacant brownfield site.
“The design has been carefully considered to optimise the potential of the site whilst delivering an attractive development that provides a high-quality living environment for future occupants whilst responding to the character of the locality. The site has been used informally for parking, however, in planning terms, is a vacant and underutilised brownfield site.”
