Broadland and South Norfolk District Council approved plans for the nine new homes to be built in land off Hackford Road, near Wymondham.
Originally this site was earmarked for just six properties, however, this was increased to nine homes in May 2021.

Despite people objecting to the plans and stating concerns that the increase in homes was “an overdevelopment” of the site, the council has permitted work to go ahead.

The houses will be up to two storeys in height and have “a traditional form and appearance”.

One of the properties will be a two-bed home, two will boast four bedrooms while the remaining six will be three-bed homes.
Developers Fleur Homes said: “The proposal will introduce an attractive development on an unused parcel of land at the edge of the village.”
The council has given the developers three years to start work at the site, from its approval on May 28.
