Ed Lockhart visited Martley Fields in Martley and The Green in Rushwick, both built by Lioncourt Homes.
The visit was to see how the housebuilder is delivering on environmental-led design, and future-ready technology.
The Future Homes Hub is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that brings together the homebuilding sector, supply chain, government, and wider partners.
It aims to collaborate on meeting the UK’s net zero and environmental targets.

Mr Lockhart said: “New homes are rapidly changing to meet higher standards, to be ready for a changing climate and to create high-quality natural environments for people and nature.
“Our job at the Future Homes Hub is to support homebuilders of all sizes across the country to make these changes, help the wider ‘value chain’ and to act as a bridge between the new homes community and government, ensuring new standards work in practice, especially for residents.
“It was hugely inspiring to visit two superb Lioncourt developments that are already incorporating these enhancements, to see first-hand how positively customers are responding, and to learn more about Lioncourt’s approach to continuous improvement.
“I am extremely grateful to Colin and colleagues for their willingness to share information, helping the industry to deliver higher quality communities across the country.”
During the visit, Mr Lockhart met with Lioncourt CEO Colin Cole and members of the senior leadership team at the company’s Brook Court head office.
Mr Cole said: “We were delighted to welcome Ed to our head office and to showcase the work being carried out across our developments.
“As a business, we are committed to continually evolving our approach to design, construction, and placemaking, ensuring that sustainability and biodiversity are embedded from the outset.
“Working closely with organisations such as the Future Homes Hub enables us to share knowledge, align with best practice, and continue raising standards across the homes and communities we deliver.”
Lioncourt Homes recently secured a five-star customer satisfaction rating from the Home Builders Federation for the 11th year running.
