Organised by the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB), the illustrated lecture will take place on Wednesday, April 9.
Mr. Lowe, who has dedicated 15 years to researching Dorset Houses, will discuss 59 houses from across the centuries using reconstruction paintings, photographs and historic images.
His insights will span from the Bronze Age to the 21st century, providing a comprehensive look at how these houses were designed, built, and used over the years.
A self-published author on the subject, he will offer a fresh interpretation of Athelhampton House, revealing new material and uncovering the controversies surrounding its design.
The talk is expected to last approximately 70 minutes.
