The Channel 4 show is now entering its 26th series, with previous episodes seeing everything from giant curved glass homes to mansions built out of clay and former water towers.
Now, more keen builders are ready to take on the task, not for the faint-hearted, as Kevin travels around the UK to see the new builds in Grand Designs.
The first episode of the new series saw artist Sarah with a radical super-sustainable home that combined living quarters with a studio and an art gallery.

Sarah was followed by couple Pete and Aey, who constructed a factory-built house in rural West Sussex.
Marcus and Abi followed the pair with a “luxurious off-grid family home” in Pembrokeshire.
Last week, Kevin met Pep and Malene, who built a modern Viking hall in the Surrey Hills.
This week, Grand Designs will meet Piers and Emma, who want to build the UK’s first castle in 100 years.
UK’s first castle in 100 years built on new Grand Designs
Entrepreneur Piers and police officer Emma have big plans to create a huge 21st-century castle in the West Midlands.
After buying a folly, the pair plan to knock the building down and replace it with the UK’s first castle in 100 years.
Plans for the couple’s dream home include a tower, castellations, a moat, arrow slits, loggia courtyards and futuristic technology.

Piers and Emma are also set to break a Grand Designs record by creating the show’s biggest building in its history.
However, things for the pair quickly take a turn when their budget begins to soar.
Grand Designs airs on Channel 4 on Wednesday evenings at 9pm, and is available to stream on All4.
