Beyoncé and Jay-Z are reportedly setting their sights on the Cotswolds, as they consider planting roots in the UK amid unfavourable conditions in the US.
Sources close to the power couple have said the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles have prompted them to explore new real estate opportunities abroad, with the picturesque English countryside making the top of their list.
Although the pair will continue to call Los Angeles home, a friend revealed to The Sun: ‘They will always be based in LA, but the UK is definitely on the agenda. Beyoncé loves it.’
The singer, 43, and her husband, 55, are said to be drawn to the Cotswolds’ stunning landscapes, privacy, and the growing list of celebs who are buying getaways there.
Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi are said to have relocated there in the wake of political upheaval in the US.
The Cotswolds already boasts famous residents such as David and Victoria Beckham, supermodel Kate Moss, and broadcaster Jeremy Clarkson, who operates both a farm and a pub in the region.

Beyoncé is scheduled to visit London in June for the UK leg of her hotly anticipated Cowboy Carter world tour, providing the perfect opportunity to explore potential new homes.
The move comes as Beyoncé and Jay-Z continue to solidify their status as the entertainment industry’s ultimate power couple.
Earlier this month, they were crowned the richest celebrity duo, with a staggering combined fortune of £2billion. Their immense wealth easily outpaces fellow music heavyweights Rihanna and A$AP Rocky, who collectively hold a net worth of £1billion.

Their staggering net worth has been built on the back of chart-topping albums, sold-out world tours, and savvy business ventures.
Jay-Z has made waves with his successful Cognac brand, while Beyoncé recently launched her own hair care line, immediately creating a beuaty industry phenomenon.
Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi follow closely behind, with a shared fortune of £424million, largely credited to Ellen’s television successes, allowing them to buy a palatial countryside retreat.
