Caldy Manor Care Home in Caldy welcomed Roman Tours UK for an interactive session exploring Chester’s Roman heritage through artefacts, storytelling, and costumes.
The visit offered a hands-on look at daily life in Roman Britain, with one resident particularly delighted to learn that her name, Beryl, was popular during Roman times.
Vicky, activity coordinator at Caldy Manor, said: “Our residents loved learning about Chester’s Roman history and especially appreciated the personal touches that made the experience so special.”
