HC-One’s Acorn Meadow Care Home, in Lostock Gralam, was recognised in the Carehome.co.uk awards 2025.
The awards are based on reviews from residents, relatives, and friends, reflecting real-life experiences and opinions.
This is the second consecutive year that Acorn Meadow has been featured in the awards.
Acorn Meadow, which provides residential dementia services, received a perfect overall rating of 10/10 based on independent reviews.
This rating recognises the standards of care provided at the 48-bedded home.
In September 2024, Acorn Meadow received a ‘Good’ CQC report across all categories.
Orna Bennett, Acorn Meadow’s care home manager, said: “At Acorn Meadow, our residents, their families, friends, and loved ones are at the core of everything we do.
“It means so much to us that their independent reviews on Carehome.co.uk highlight the dedication and gentle care provided by our entire team.
“Being named a top-20 care home in the North West is a great achievement for us.”
Rachael Junge, HC-One’s managing director for the North West, said: “I’m overjoyed that Acorn Meadow has earned a place in the Carehome.co.uk Top 20 Awards 2025 for the North West.
“This recognition is a powerful nod to our commitment to being the preferred care home for residents, their families, and our team in every community we serve.”
Acorn Meadow will be celebrating its top 20 achievement with a celebration on Tuesday, April 8, from 2pm to 3pm.
Visitors and members of the community are invited to join in the celebration.
