Pallas Capital has appointed Samantha Dance (pictured) to its origination team, further strengthening its UK presence following the firm’s launch into the market earlier this year.
Dance brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, with a specialised focus on property finance over the last nine years.
Her career includes significant tenures at other leading specialist lenders, where she established a reputation for building robust professional networks and delivering tailored funding solutions.
Most recently, Dance spent nearly six years at Glenhawk as a business development manager (BDM), where her impact on the specialist lending sector was recognised with a shortlisting for BDM of the Year at the Bridging & Commercial (B&C) Awards.
Prior to this, she served as regional development manager at Together.
Dance said: “I take genuine pride in turning property ambitions into reality, and there is nothing quite like the buzz of seeing a deal complete knowing I’ve played a part in that journey.
“Pallas Capital has quickly made a name for itself in the UK for its certainty of execution and disciplined approach.
“I am thrilled to join a team that shares my drive for finding solutions and providing brokers with the confidence they need to deliver for their clients.”
In her new role, Dance will work alongside Mark Witherington, Phil Mabb, Anna Thompson, Archie Dickinson and Hunter Casey, and the wider credit team to support intermediaries and expand the lender’s footprint.
Ben Keenan, executive director at Pallas Capital, added: “Samantha brings a huge amount of technical expertise, but what really sets her apart is how approachable and easy she is to work with.
“Brokers absolutely love dealing with her because she’s commercial, straightforward and gets things done properly – we’re really excited to have her join the Pallas team.”
