Hope Capital Property Finance has reported record female representation, with 82% of its senior management team and 61% of its total workforce now women.
This follows its signing of HM Treasury’s Women in Finance Charter in 2018, which has seen the company focus on increasing diversity in a sector still mainly made up of men.
Kate Cowan, chief financial and operating officer at Hope Capital Property Finance, said: “Since our 2024 announcement, when 78% of senior management and 54% of the workforce were women, we have seen meaningful growth in representation.
“Celebrating women, creating visible leadership pathways, and recognising achievements remain central to our mission.
“Renewing our commitment to the Women in Finance Charter reaffirms our pledge to build a fairer, more inclusive future in finance.”
Jonathan Sealey, CEO at Hope Capital Property Finance, said: “This week, we proudly celebrated our all-female Senior Leadership Team, now operating entirely at Director level.
“In a sector still largely led by men, this is a historic achievement for our company.
“It reflects the skill, dedication, and leadership of our team, and underscores our determination to lead the way in gender diversity across financial services.”
