UK to create regional investment fund for Central Asia
AKIPRESS.COM – The UK intends to create a regional investment institute to support development of trade and economic relations with Central Asia, British Ambassador Nicholas Bowler said.
The capital of the investment fund will make 19.5 million British pounds. Basically, these funds will be used to develop small and medium-sized enterprises that are led by women, the Ambassador said.
The Ambassador clarified that a selection process is currently underway, following which institutions will be selected to participate in the management of this fund.
This initiative aims to improve investment support of UK companies.
