Wentworth Capital, a property investment firm founded by ex-Blackstone and Mirvac operatives, has raised $350 million for a new fund that it hopes will grow to as much as $2 billion over the next decade.
Sources said the Wentworth Real Estate Private Equity Fund I, whose bets range from stakes in CSIRO’s headquarters in North Ryde and a Circular Quay office building, has received commitments from family offices, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds. Pacific Capital arranged the deal.
