Landlords and property professionals across the south coast are being invited to attend the National Landlord Investment Show, taking place in Southampton at St Mary’s Stadium on April 14.
The free event comes ahead of significant changes in the private rented sector, including the first phase of the Renters’ Rights Act, which comes into effect on May 1.
Kate Faulkener OBE, UK property analyst for the National Landlord Investment Show, said: “The upcoming show in Hampshire comes at a critical time to address not only the big macro level changes we’re seeing in the property market in terms of the legislative and tax landscape, and supporting landlords with this, but it also helps us bring attention to the local market.

“The biggest regional issues we’re seeing are a lack of supply of affordable housing in the market, and particularly social housing, within the parameters of increasing demand from the student market.
“Property events like this are critical to attend as a UK landlord to receive support and guidance on how to navigate macro but also local market challenges.”
Established in 2013, the show connects landlords, investors, and developers with free expert advice across a range of key areas.
More than 20 seminars will cover topics including the Renters’ Rights Act and Making Tax Digital.
Guests will also have the chance to meet more than 40 property service suppliers and take part in a landlord advice clinic.
Steve and Tracey Hanbury, organisers and co-founders of the event, said: “Bringing the National Landlord Investment Show to Southampton and the wider south coast region has never been more timely.
“The sector is undergoing significant changes, and we want to get the message out there to UK landlords everywhere.”
Doors open at 9.30am and close at 3.30pm. Entry is free, and tickets can be booked online.
