Brent Cross Town is a 180-acre new park town development being delivered by developer Related Argent and Barnet council.
One of Europe’s largest regeneration projects, this pioneering mixed-use new town is set alongside 50 acres of open green space with an emphasis on what the developer calls “core values of physical and social connectivity, environmental sustainability, and health and wellness.”
It looks ripe for investors.
Connections to and from the town have been further enhanced by the opening of Brent Cross West Station late last year and the diversion of a bus route, the 189, to travel through the town. These add to existing bus routes serving the area and to Northern Line connections via Brent Cross Tube.
The new concept home draws on the visual identities created for London Transport from the 1930s through to present day via its distinctive patterned textile designs widely used on Northern Line train seats and London Transport buses during the 1970s and 1980s. This has been reinterpreted, creating a new contemporary take on the design.
Drawing on the longstanding marriage of London transport and cutting-edge design, the theme is further inspired by the new Brent Cross West Thameslink station, making Brent Cross Town one of London’s best-connected neighbourhoods
Brent Cross Town will provide up to 6,700 new homes, with a mix of affordable homes, rentals, and properties for sale. A new high street, new parks, squares, sports and play facilities, brand new buildings for three local schools, as well as 3m square feet of office space are being created, with a key commitment to provide more than 50 acres of inspiring green space, coupled with verdant walking and cycling routes.
The concept show apartment visualisation is set within The Ashbee at Brent Cross Town, which along with neighbouring The Delamarre is almost ready to welcome new homeowners. Together The Ashbee and The Delamarre provide 277 studio and one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments.
Both overlook Claremont Park, a green space which has been created as part of Brent Cross Town with imaginative play and sports facilities, calming water features, nature trails, a kiosk and specially commissioned public art.
Tom Goodall, chief executive of Related Argent, says: “Brent Cross Town is London’s most exciting regeneration project, providing a new park town development for London set around 50 acres of parks and playing fields. The Delamarre and The Ashbee will deliver the first parkside homes with health, exercise, work-from-home and leisure facilities and unparalleled transport connections on tap. These new concept show apartment visualisations celebrate Brent Cross Town’s incredible connectivity, access to nature and high design values.”
Easy to access, Brent Cross Town is served by Brent Cross Underground station, from where Northern Line services depart for central London every five minutes, taking just 20 minutes to reach Tottenham Court Road station; and Brent Cross West Thameslink, taking as little as 12 minutes to St Pancras International, with up to eight trains an hour at peak times and direct connections to Farringdon for Elizabeth Line services.
The extension of local bus service, the 189, running along Parkview Avenue and new Arbour Street, brings public transport right through the very heart of Brent Cross Town, delivering hyper-local connectivity to every home. Brent Cross Town also offers immediate access to the North Circular and M1 motorway, which connects with the M25, with five airports within one hour’s drive or less.
