Last week over 250 investors, developers, and supporting businesses gathered for the 27th consecutive Warrington Property Review event.
This took place in what can be described as TUNA times T=Turbulent, U=Unexpected, N=Novel, A=Ambitious.
Despite the economic challenges on the global stage, the overall mood at the event was positive with a strong sense of determination to keep going to succeed and deliver business growth.
Resilience, pragmatism, and an entrepreneurial spirit have long characterised our local economy and we continue to outperform many other areas in key areas such as salary levels and the number of local businesses that are technological innovation leaders.
Evidence was provided that we have delivered our highest property investment levels in the past five years.
Although there are challenges, particularly in the office market, overall investment levels in industrial development, residential development, and retail/leisure performance are strong and encouraging for the future.
The event proved we have a very strong collaborative culture where the ambition is always to achieve business success in the right and proper manner.
The event was deeply encouraging and showed that the most important ingredient in economic success, Confidence, is alive and strong here.
Our revitalised local Chamber of Commerce, along with other key partners, continue to work hard to ensure we have a town that supports good employment opportunities, and wealth creation, and we also continue to perform well economically and exceed the performance of many others.
Together with our excellent skills and education outcomes, whilst there will be challenges to overcome, we are in a great place to continue our track record of local economic success.
