Blackburn-based property business, The Adhan Group, has acquired the Buzz Bingo Building in the town, for an undisclosed sum, in a strategic acquisition.
The freehold property investment in the 33,000 sq ft space will solidify its presence in Northern England, it said.
The prominent building offers 65 parking spaces and a secured 15-year lease and demonstrates Adhan Group’s continued confidence in the North West’s commercial property market, building on its recent series of strategic investments across the region, it said.
The investment is expected to bring substantial benefits to Blackburn, including job creation, increased commercial activity, and enhanced prospects for local businesses.
A spokesperson for the group said: “This acquisition reflects our confidence in Blackburn as a thriving hub for business and community development. We are keen to support the local economy, create opportunities, and invest in the North’s long term prosperity.”
The group said as it continues to expand its portfolio, stakeholders anticipate further strategic moves that will bolster the north’s economic landscape, bringing new business prospects and community-focused initiatives to the region.
Earlier this month the group completed the acquisition of Blackburn wallpaper manufacturer Graham & Brown’s India Mill site and just over a week later it announced it had signed up a new tenant in Blackburn tissue manufacturer, Euro Paper, on a 10-year lease, leading to 150 new jobs.
