HomeOwners Alliance has announced the appointment of Sarah Tucker as its mortgage expert.
Tucker, founder and CEO of The Mortgage Mum, has delivered mortgage commentary on television and radio and has been working with the government since last year to help it identify and address challenges that the mortgage industry faces.
This newest move will see Tucker become HomeOwners Alliance’s main voice for commentary, analysis and advice on the mortgage process. Alongside this, she will deliver a programme of consumer-focused content, with regular video updates as well as live webinars.
Tucker will work closely with Paula Higgins, chief executive of HomeOwners Alliance, who will continue leading the firm’s work with the industry and the government. The partnership aims to offer homebuyers and homeowners more holistic and authoritative guidance.
Higgins (pictured, left) said: “Sarah is one of the most dynamic and engaging voices in the property and mortgage market today. Her ability to explain what’s happening and what it means for people is exactly what homeowners and aspiring homeowners need. Bringing her expertise together with our advice, campaigning and policy work means we can offer even stronger support and advice to homeowners and buyers, and continue to push for improvements across the housing market.”
Tucker (pictured, right) added: “I’m passionate about helping people feel confident and informed when it comes to mortgages and the wider property journey. HomeOwners Alliance has an incredible track record of campaigning on the issues that really matter to homeowners, and I’m really excited to be working together.
