The company behind UKREiiF is expanding overseas for the first time with the launch of a new real estate and infrastructure investment forum in Australia.
The event will replicate the UKREiiF model, bringing together investors, developers, occupiers, policymakers and public sector organisations to showcase development opportunities across Australia and attract global investment.
It will cover traditional property and infrastructure sectors, including commercial, residential, transport and retail, alongside emerging markets such as renewable energy, digital infrastructure and defence.
Nathan Spencer, founding director and managing director of UKREiiF, said: “Australia is entering an extraordinary period of growth, and the global players within our industry are frequently discussing the opportunities coming forward in the country.
“Our ambition is to create something genuinely different for the Australian market – a major international festival that tells the stories of each state, city and town across Australia, and one that builds the relationships that see global capital deployed and projects moved forward.”
Launched in Leeds in 2022, UKREiiF has grown into the UK’s largest real estate and infrastructure event. Organisers say more than 17,000 delegates attended the 2026 event, which generates more than £20m annually for the Leeds and West Yorkshire economy and has helped facilitate more than £4bn of investment and development projects.
Matt Christie, founding director and director of external affairs at UKREiiF, said the Australian event would retain the collaborative approach that has underpinned the forum’s growth while exploring sectors expected to drive the country’s next wave of investment, including housing, renewable energy, AI infrastructure and major regeneration projects.
