Somo has appointed Jon Durie (pictured) as relationship director, bringing more than 26 years of mortgage sector experience to the company.
Durie joins from Bridging Finance Solutions, where he worked as business development manager (BDM).
He has spent nearly 20 years working in property development and bridging finance, with previous roles at Davenham Property Finance, BLG Development Finance, Assetz Capital, Aldermore Bank, Glenhawk and Bridging Finance Solutions Group.
