In Nuffied Road, plans have been submitted to Oxford City Council to change the use of a two-storey mid-terrace, six-bedroom home, equipped with car parking and cycling spaces, and bin storage.
After a previous application was refused by the council in February, the landlord has now amended the plans.
New plans claim to now meet the minimum floorspace standard needed in the communal space and also include dedicated bin storage and secure storage for six bicycles.
This will bring the HMO density of the buildings withing 100m street length of the application site to 17.2 per cent, below the 20 per cent policy threshold, documents say.

The proposal seeks to “provide high-quality shared accommodation within an existing residential building while maintaining the visual character and residential function of the site.”
