An investigation is taking place following an early morning property fire in a city suburb.
Crews spent much of Saturday (June 6) checking for hot spots following the fire in The Wells Road, in St Ann’s.
A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service (NFRS) spokesman said: “We were called to Wells Road, St Ann’s, at 3.41am on Saturday to reports of a fire in a property.

“Crews from Carlton, London Road, Arnold, Highfields and West Bridgford attended the incident.
“They periodically revisited the property throughout the day to ensure no hot spots remained, and a fire investigation is under way to determine the cause.
“There have been no reports of any injuries.”
The road was closed for some of the day while the fire service dealt with the incident.
The fire is thought to have happened at a property located on the junction with Richmond Avenue.
