THE A69 at Warwick Bridge is closed after an HGV left the carriageway, overturned and struck a property near the roadside.
The road is closed in both directions between the M6 J43 near Carlisle and the A689 between Great Corby Road and the Castle Carrock turn-off, with queuing traffic reported in the area.
Cumbria Police are handling the situation, and traffic is being redirected with emergency services on the scene.

It is understood that nobody has been injured.
Eastbound traffic is being diverted from M6 J44 via the A689 eastbound past Carlisle Lake District Airport, rejoining the A69 at Brampton.
Westbound traffic is following the reverse route.
