OneDome has today announced its acquisition of Mortgage Intelligence Limited from Connells Group.
OneDome’s acquisition of Mortgage Intelligence Limited, which also includes Mortgage Next Network Limited and Life and Easy Limited, will expand OneDome’s mortgage distribution footprint substantially.
Mortgage Intelligence, including the Life and Easy and Mortgage Next arms, is a mortgage insurance network that was founded in 1996.
The newly combined entity will arrange in excess of £10bn of mortgages each year, which will establish OneDome as one of the UK mortgage intermediary space’s largest firms, with over 550 brokers in operation across the country.
The acquisition comes shortly after several moves from the housing and fintech lender; last month, it announced a £7.5m investment from Channel 4’s consumer investment arm, Channel 4 Ventures. The firm also launched its own mortgage broker network, OneDome Growth Partners (ODGP), in September.
In addition, OneDome has made several other acquisitions in recent years, including Albany Park, Better.co.uk – formerly Trussle – Coreco and CMME.

Babek Ismayil, founder and CEO of OneDome, said: “This acquisition is strategically important for us. Recently, we announced a £7.5m TV campaign to promote our HomeBuyer Service nationwide. We will need hundreds of brokers to service the demand generated by this campaign.
“This acquisition gives us the scale and foundation for that growth. We initially planned to reach 500 brokers by the end of 2026, but with this acquisition, we have revised our target to 750-plus brokers.”
Adrian Scott, chief lender services officer at Connells Group, added: “We are delighted to have completed this transaction with the OneDome team. The three appointed representative networks are well-established businesses with experienced teams and strong broker relationships, and we wish them continued success as they move forward under new ownership.”
