Knight Frank has expanded its new homes investment sales offering, covering regional towns and cities outside the capital.
The property consultancy will base the team out of its Colmore Row office in Birmingham to serve both domestic and international buyers.
Liam Smith will head up the team which will deliver advice across the regional residential investment sector, in “a moment for our regional cities”.
Will Jordan, partner at Knight Frank and head of Birmingham residential developments said: “Birmingham exemplifies the trend we are seeing across the country, where strategic investors are seeking to capitalise on the inbound investment and accelerating transformation of key regional cities. Liam’s unparalleled experience and expertise in this sector makes him the ideal person to lead the expansion of our new homes investment team.”
Liam Smith, partner at Knight Frank and head of regional new homes investments said; “This strategic expansion follows a series of notable successes for Knight Frank’s new homes investment sales in the regions, reflecting growing investor interest in the regional property market. As London’s affordability constraints intensify and hybrid working becomes normalised, the moment for our regional cities as an investment destination has definitely arrived.”
