Sorry I don’t mean things like possessions etc I just mean a house which is jointly owned. She is getting the apartment in Spain which we jointly own and I am getting the house in UK which is jointly owned. In Spain I give her my 50% by means of a special deed which is basically is like buying and selling. The house in UK has obviously appreciated in value since 2012 so her half has profit added to it under 2023 valuation. The question is do I use the 2012 rate of euro to answer purchase price. I suppose it has to be so it equates roughly with the 720.
